Whole wheat is definitely the most versatile of the La Tortilla flavors. They have a bit of a "snappy" aftertaste, but you get over it.
They're a staple in our home. We use them for everything from "wrap" sandwichs to breakfast tacos, to fajitas.

These are so good. The taste is very "wheaty",good for soft tacos and sweet cream cheese.I did have a hard time finding them in stores(using the locator on the website),so ordered a case.

These are great for everything from breakfast burritos to enchiladas. We have tried both the whole wheat (can be used more easily I find) and the Garlic and Herb. While the Garlic and Herb has a nice flavor in certain applications, we prefer the whole wheat ones. Initially when you try them, they do have a taste (especially compared to regular tortillas) but you fast get past that when you realize the versatility of these babies!

these are wonderful, i ate them before i was low-carbing, & even before they were advertised as 'low-carb.' honestly wouldn't have thought they were 'cause they still have a very bread-like quality to them. i reccomend.

I haven't found a better low carb food alternative yet that was as good as the real thing.
I've had the wheat and and the green onion. The green onion is my favorite.

These babies are wonderful! They do have a different taste than the "real" ones, but I got over that fast. I use them for chicken enchiladas (yes, there are brands of sauce with lower carb counts), I've used them for fajitas, and they fry decently for chimichangas. They make good Quesadillas, too.

I love these tortillas!! I tried all 3 flavors, and my favorite was the garlic and herb, followed by the whole wheat. I didn't care too much for the green onion - I felt the flavor was a bit overpowering - but I still used them all! These are definitely going to be one of my low-carb staples from now on.

I absolutely love them, I found them quite by accident in my grocery store last week. They had the wheat and the garlic and herb. The smell through the package of the garlic and herb was a bit overpowering so I opted for the whole wheat. I have tried some low carb products to be disappointed but not with these. The first thing I did was make a breakfast burrito, yummy, since then I have had tacos for lunch two days in a row and today I am making a BBQ chicken wrap, with peppers, onions, grilled chicken strips, mottzarella cheese and Walden's 0 carb, 0 fat BBQ sauce and I can't wait for lunch. I am going to be buying these weekly.

Pros:

Taste, very good tortilla substitute.
|
|
Cons:

Try letting high temperature food sit on one of these for about a minute. Now pick it up. See?
|
|
One of the hardest things about doing Atkins or other low-carb diets is missing the food in the "pizza/tortilla family." This incudles...well, pizzas and tortillas. I knew I was going to miss that food so much, I actually bought these wraps before going on the diet, and the results of my taste test would so strongly influence my decision of whether or not to do Atkins, if these tasted bad it *might* have been a deal breaker.
I'm happy to say these passed - with ease. Great stuff. A TON of them come in each order for a good price, and if you spread a little taco sauce and cheese on one of these babies, nuke it for a minute, you won't believe that what you're eating is actually permissible on your current diet.

Pros:

Use as tortillas or "bread" makes lunch easier
|
|
Cons:
|
hard to find, expensive, consistency of cheap wheat bread squished into a ball and then rolled out flat
|
|
I was happy to find these. Being new to the whole low carb thing it's tough for me to think of not having pasta or bread. I first tried the wheat and, while the consistency is *not* like a tortilla exactly, it's usable for quesadillas, fajitas and all kinds of sandwiches (egg salad, tuna or pb&j!). I really like the wheat ones w/ pb&j!
We used the garlic and herb ones for salads and plan to try them with cream cheese instead of toast. I think I might try making tortilla chips or possibly cutting them in thin strips and using them instead of pasta *shrug*.
I rated them highly not for the texture or taste so much as their versatility.

We really enjoyed the texture and taste of these low carb tortillas. We were really starting to panic not having "tacos" but always taco salad! This has proven to be a keeper in our house; we use it for breakfast burittos, tacos, egg salad etc...

These are delicious and a staple in my house now. They freeze well, so you can stock up on them. I have made breakfast burritos, tacos, chicken wraps, and tuna sandwiches with them and could literally live on them daily. I've shared some with my "regular eating" friends, and they can't believe they're low-carb.

These things are awesome. They have a little bit different taste than real tortillas, but not a bad taste. I use them for cheese crisps, burritos, chorizo and eggs, tuna, chicken, or lunchmeat wraps. There is no end to the uses. I am going to try and cut them into small sections and deep fry them for chips. High in fiber, low in carbs and great tasting.

I love these. They taste just like the whole wheat wraps I ate before I started eating low-carb. I've heard a few people say they taste a little "different", but I think they're crazy. This is one of those low-carb foods that tastes just like it wasn't low-carb. I recommend them to everyone.
