Pros:

Since they are made from Almond flour they have a better flavor than some of the other mixes I have tried.
Cons:
very runny as they bake, better as a bar cookie
I made the Snickerdoodle cookies, the box said 18 cookies, I got 36 big flat cookies. The second time I made them I did it in a bar pan, much much better. They aren't my mom's snickerdoodles, but I will be buying more of those. I'll just throw a little cinnamon/splenda on top before I bake it.

I tried the lemon burst and they were OK...like MissDMV, I got totally FLAT cookies...you spoon the mixture onto the baking sheet and what you see on the box is NOT what you get in real life! They were good for about the first two cookies, but then we ended up throwing them out...

Brownies: The Atkins mix tastes better but MiniCarb doesn't have sugar alcohols - a BIG plus for me. The brownies are much better with a frosting. I also use them as a base for other recipes. They are very good as a "crust" for low carb cheescakes.

I made the Lemon Burst cookies this weekend. I ended up with 36 cookies. I didn't use a much water as it called for so the batter was less runny. (It says right on the box the batter will be thin, hence the flat cookies.)
I thought they were very good.

Pros:
good base for addtional flavor
Cons:
batter was too thin
I added more almond flour to thicken the batter and a little cinnamon and vanilla. The result was excellent. I got 18 cake like cookies. I may have effected the carb count slightly with the added almond flour, but it was worth it. The snickerdoodles were a hit at work with my friends who are low carbn'it with me.

were the brownies supposed to taste lke chocolate?

I tried the brownies. I know it's been awhile since I've had chocolate, but I thought these were awful. I haven't tried them with anything on them, so maybe that would help.

These were absolutely disgusting cookies. They tasted like sawdust that was soaked in chemicals...HOWEVER I ended up smashing them up adding some melted butter and used them as a crust for a raspberry cheesecake and it turned out great. So as a crust I guess I would recommend them, as a cookie NO WAY.

These brownies were absolutely disgusting. I took one bite and spit them out. My husband and his brother both tried them and thought they were terrible. These are guys that will eat anything.

I made the Lemon Burst cookies this morning but subs coconut oil for the butter and sweetened (3pkts. stevia plus and 4 drops liquid saccharin) lemon juice for the water, baked as bars instead. They came out wonderful. Have a hard time not eating them all at once!

Convenience & Taste

Cost (but I have found it in Walmart & local stores for $.50!)

when I made these, my batter was WAY TOO thin to make cookies. I thought this was because I use Jumbo eggs but from the previous reviews, I guess everyone's were thinner than expected. My solution was to bake them in a SILICONE muffin pan - baked for 13min each. They taste much like a lemon cheesecake with a heavy consistency (for Lemon Burst). CAUTION: because my SILICONE pan only has 12 cups, I put 6 into a regular NON-STICK pan - big mistake. Couldn't get them out at all. Hubby and I both love these!!

I tried the snickerdoodles several times before having the good sense to leave out the added water (or just add a couple of drops). The cookies were fantastic and they don't have sugar alcohols which I avoid. Just don't follow the directions on the package or else you'll have flat cookies!

i like the brownies a lot, and i add walnuts to the batter. my husband liked them and he doesn't like most of the low carb food that i eat.
the cookies did not work out that well. they came out paper thin and i had such a hard time scraping them off the cookie sheet that i had to throw them out. i'll try them again
