Description: Coconut Flour, the new low-carb, high-fiber, gluten-free alternative to wheat flour for baking and cooking.

Coconut Flour is made from fresh organic coconut meat. The meat is dried and defatted and then finely ground into a powder very similar in consistency to wheat flour.

Coconut Flour is a low – carb flour. It is ideal for baking low – carb breads and baked goods. It has fewer digestible (net) carbs than any other flour, including soy! It even has fewer digestible carbs than most vegetables.

Coconut Flour is a good source of protein.

Pros: works okay mixed with other stuff for frying chicken/lasts a long time cause you cannot use much at a time/low carb
Cons: too hard to bake with, contains no gluten

it's like no other flour and it doesn't like to play with other flours either

it tastes good on chicken and i would imagine anything else breaded with it and mixed with some parmesan and almond flour or carbalose flour

i like the coconut flavor of it, but it doesn't bake up well in anything i have tried so far

Pros: tasty and easy to use
Cons: gets lumps easily, so use food processor

I mix mine with other "flours" & nuts and get an excellent result with many of my recipes.

Pros: Great when used with other low carb flour mixes.
Cons: Must binder such as xanthum, guar gum or eggs to assist with lack of gluten.

I am allergic to gluten therefore this product works for me in conjunction with other low carb mixes. The grand kids were crazy over the corn bread that was made especially for them using equal measures of coconut flour to cornmeal.
