Pros: Lots of flavor choices. Good taste.
Cons: Expensive. Some have more protein taste than others.

Atkins Advantage bars are something I recommend, but conditionally. You'll either like them or hate them, so I strongly recommend doing taste tests. I like the chocolate decadence and s'mores flavors. I don't like peanut butter at all, though my husband likes it and coconut best. They're very sweet, filling and have a lot of good stuff in them, but even the best ones have a protein taste to them that you might find too strong. Like I said, I like them, but I understand if others do not.

Pros: Convenience
Cons: Don't taste very good

I tried many flavors of the Advantage bars, and didn't care for any of them. They do come in handy if you are out and about with no other food choices, but the taste is hard to get past - they can be very vitamin-y tasting.

Pros:
Cons:

Wasn't too thrilled with these. I bought a bunch of them when I first started this WOE and they still sit in the fridge. I need to throw them out! I couldn't even finish a bar. I tried the Cookies & Cream, S'mores, Peanut Butter, and Mocha Crunch. Has too much of a vitamin taste for me. *BLECH*

Pros: very filling
Cons: aftertaste

I tried the cookies bar first, and hated it. Then I tried the coconut, and LOVED it. I also enjoy the mocha almond bar.

Pros: yummy, high in protein/fiber so they are filling
Cons: occassionally an aftertaste (not in all of them)

i personally like them. it doesn't surprise me that they don't appeal to everyone, though. they have the taste/texture characteristic of high protein bars.

favorites: smores, peanut butter, choc decadence, mocha crunch.

Pros: Taste good, nice texture
Cons: Might be to "protein tasting" for some

I've tried a few flavors. I really like the Peanut Butter the best. The coconut wasn't my favorite, but I think it was the texture that threw me. DH loves the Mocha Crunch flavor. I also like the S'more flavor, but the PB is definitely my favorite.

Pros: convenience and taste
Cons: expensive

They have somewhat of an odd taste at times and I can see why some people do not like them. I have tried all flavors and the peanut butter and coconut are my favorites. They are expensive and can become a little too sweet if I eat a whole bar. I usually make one bar last in three seperate occassions. NOTE: I have found that if I eat these too often that I get knocked out of ketosis.

I bought peanut butter and the alomd brownie ones. To sweet and to much after taste. They are higher fiber than others.

Pros: low in carbs
Cons: chalky taste, horrible aftertaste, texture

I tried almost every flavor to try and find one I liked...I didn't find one. They are horrible! Very chalky with a bad after-taste.

Pros: Filling,tasty and handy
Cons: High cost

I have tried the Choc/Coco a number of times and found them to be great.
I just tried the Pralines and Cream but it wasn't as good as the Choc/Coco.
Very filling and relieves the cravings for chocolate.....will try more flavours!

Pros: Convenience
Cons: price, some flavors

Some of the Atkins bars taste good, others are horrible!! For my own personal preference, I like the ones without the faux chocolate coating. The ones with the coating have a strange texture and a very strong protein taste.

I would recommend buying a few individule bars, before investing in a box of these!

Pros: Smores and Peanut Butter are great
Cons: expensive

I like the Smores and Peanut Butter flavors. They're both quite good. I didn't like the coconut flavor at all. It had a wicked aftertaste. Hours later I was still tasting coconut (and not in a pleasant way). I prefer the Doctors CarbRite coconut bars. They're very mellow and have no aftertaste. The chocolate coating on them is a dark chocolate, so it reminds me of eating a Mounds bar.

I think the vitamin taste is masked really well in the Smores bar.

Pros: They taste really yummy! :)
Cons: They can be really addictive! :(

There bars are sooo good! The best is smores! MMMM! Cookies n' creme can get kinda ick tasting towards the end, but all in all these things are sooooooo yummy!!!! I could eat them 24/7...too bad I can't! Sad

Pros: Satisflying, yummy, nutritional, handy
Cons: Some flavors are not great

Absolutley love these bars...My favorite is Praline and Choc Peanut Butter. I have a hard time finding any Praline lately, wonder if they discontinued Praline- it is the sweetest and creamiest with a white creamy coating. My second favorites are Smores, Chocolate Decadence and Brownie. Only flavor I despise is Cookies and Cream - ugh! These bars are satisfying for a sweet craving or even when on the go and starving they will fill me up. I ate these during 2 weeks of Ketosis and remained dark purple.
I have tried all of the other brands and these are the best, especially because they are made with Sucralose and not Maltitol like most- so they do not cause gas/bloating.

Pros: something quick and easy and fits in your pocket...
Cons: might stall some...

live in a small town.. cost a bunch.. but i FREEEEEEEEEEZE the mocha crunch ones.. i dont like candy very much... was looking for something snack like.... dont like at ALL unless frozen... so didnt work out as a carry along snack as i had hoped... but when a snack attack calls.. the frozen mocha crunch fills the bill..

Pros: Yummy and filling
Cons: price

My husband and I really enjoy these bars. We hadn't had anything relatively sweet for quite a while when we first tried them, hence we thought we hit gold! We love the peanut butter. The others are not bad either. Smile
Note: My sister likes only the Mocha Crunch bars, she hated the smores and peanute butter; I thought they were good, so it really depends on you. Buy in singles to begin with, then bulk when you find a good one.

Pros: Convenient, tasty, filling
Cons: price

I never used Atkin's bars before -or any other Atkins approved products. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I found that when a sweet attack did strike, this really hit the spot and kept me from diving into Ben & Jerry's or other "forbidden" sweet snack. I've only tried the peanut bar- I thought it was great. I've also tried Lindora bars- I have to say-this one is better for taste and texture. (Some Lindora bars are also really good- do not be mistaken!)

Pros: taste
Cons: cost

I see these are a real personal taste type of thing. I LOVE the Peanut butter bars, and really like the Mocha Crunch and Coconut. But can't stomach the Cookies and Cream or Pralines and cream at all. Have given them all a try though and feel they are much better then any other brand I have tried. Fixes my sweet tooth anyways!

Pros: Better (for you) than a real candy bar! Not a bad taste
Cons: Expensive

I love these bars!! I think that if it weren't for these bars, I would've fallen off the wagon already. I like all of them, but I'd have to say that the peanut butter, coconut and cookies and cream are my favorites.

Pros: convenience
Cons: price

I tried the cookies n creme bar today since it was on sale. It was very rich; after one bite I was searching for a drink. It was filling enough to keep me satisfied for about 3 hours. The creme frosting did have a bit of a chemical after taste. But considering how many vitamins and how few carbs were in there, they're pretty good. I wouldn't make a habit of them but they're pretty good in a pinch.

Pros: Good Variety
Cons: A little pricey

I tried the Pralines one and it was great. I also tried the smores & cookies and cream. I really liked the smores but I wouldn't buy the cookies and cream anymore. The sugar alcohol flavor was a bit overpowering. I don't know if its because I'm becoming sensitive to it or what but I couldn't handle it on that bar.

Pros: fills you up! satisfy craving for sweet, long lasting
Cons: price for me, some flavors yucky to me

Thumbs Up! Needed a fix so I tried the Cookies and Cream. Because I craved sweet I thought "I can deal with this" because it was DRY but somewhat sweet and chocolately. Then I tried the S'mores. YUM! Didn't taste like smores but again - YUM! This morning for breakfast 2 deviled eggs and the peanut butter bar and YUM!!! Try every flavor. You'll like something. Much fiber so drink with full glass of liquid and stay full a long time.
