Description: Bob's Red Mill Almond Meal/Flour is skinless, blanched almonds that have been finely ground. It lends a moist texture and rich, buttery flavor to low carb cakes, cookies, muffins, sweet breads and a host of other low carb desserts. It is also superb as a breading for meats and vegetables. Almond Meal/Flour is low in carbohydrates and a good source of protein, fiber, vitamin E and magnesium. Gluten free and Kosher.

Pros: I like the taste of it better than soy.
Cons: Expensive. I found it for $5.99-$6.99 for 1 lb./would like 5 lb bags for that price.LOL

I like using this. I mix it with anything. I'm not a big baker, but I love coatings on my chicken, etc. I mix it with parmesan and spices for a great baked chicken coating. I use it as a substitute for flour a lot.
I mixed some with some flax meal and put in my meatloaf instead of cracker meal. It worked out just fine.

Pros: good flavor
Cons: grind to chunky

While I will use this if it is the only one I can get I do prefer another brand for it's finer grind.

Pros: taste great
Cons: I would like it a bit finer. Expensive

This product is a staple in my baking. I just bought another brand that was much cheaper. I believe about $5 dollars for the same size. I spent $11.99 on this brand. Didn't notice it until I looked at my receipt. I don't think I would have bought it if I knew if it was this expensive.

Pros: convenient
Cons: cost

Why pay so much when you can use your food processor to grind almonds or slivered almonds for about 1/2 the price, especially if you shop at BJ's, Costco, Sam's club or some other warehouse, even Trader Joe's is cheaper.

Pros: it's good, I like it
Cons: a little high priced compared to other brands

I like the finer grind better and better pricing helps, don't mind ordering in bulk to save money.
