Description: Unlike "low carb" pastas that contain mostly soy protein and fillers, Dreamfields is authentic pasta made with premium durum wheat semolina. Our unique pasta recipe means fewer carbohydrates get absorbed into your system, much like whole grains, so Dreamfields is a delicious way to enjoy healthy carb living.

Dreamfields pasta is available in 4 popular shapes: Spaghetti, Elbows, Penne Rigate and Linguine. You can serve a variety of pasta dishes to your family and friends that are delicious, healthy and satisfying.

It is so nice to be able to eat pasta once in awhile. This tastes, looks, and cooks like the regular pasta. GREAT!

Pros: Everything
Cons: more expensive than

When I saw the tell tale black box from the end of the aisle I practically ran down to find out if it was the infamous dreamfields. It was! I snatched up a box and immediately went home to try it. At first I was eating it saying to myself, well what's so special about this? Well, WHAT IS SO SPECIAL is that you can't tell the difference! I'm telling you, no one would know if you didn't tell them! So if you have friends/family that are skeptical of LC foods, sneak this in. They'll never know!

Pros: Taste as good as regular pasta
Cons:

I served this twice to my carb eaters and they did not know the difference. It is so nice to have as a side dish occasionally.

Pros: Awesome taste, incredible!
Cons: NOTHING!!

This stuff is AMAZING!!!! Just like real pasta, I really feel like I'm cheating. I just polished off a bowl of the linguine with LC alfredo sauce and chicken! AWESOME! Now, THIS is the way to do low-carb! For those of us in So Cal who have been waiting for this, I found it at Stater Bros. WOO HOO!!!

Pros: Great Taste
Cons: Priced Higher than Regular Pastas

Excellent for the entire family, tastes like regular pasta. Almost too good to be true, I still have my doubts regarding the true carb count on this one, will eat sparingly.

Pros: Taste Great
Cons:

This is great. Taste just like regular pasta. And the price wasn't near as much as other low carb pasta products I have tried.

Pros: As others have said, the price and the taste......but.....
Cons: Be careful with it--see below

Ok, it gets closer to a 10 on the taste scale relative to other low-carb alternatives, but I do have a small problem with it. I'm on low-carb maintenance and eat 1650 calories/day. EVERY TIME I eat Dreamfields, wonderful as it is, I get the effect that I would get if I were to overload on carbs--a temporary weight gain of about 2 pounds. I say temporary because I'm sure it's just water weight. Carbohydrates in your blood system hold far more water than other cells, so even if these carbs act like fiber for some people, they must still be capable of holding water before passing through the system. Even if this product has a low glycemic index for diabetics, and maybe doesn't even affect some low-carbers, I find that I have to be extra-good for a few days (in terms of carb-counting while still eating at the same caloric level) in order to get rid of that water weight. I'm a person who can eat loads of sugar alcohols and some alcohol with no negative effect to my weight, and yet with Dreamfields I bloat right up--temporarily. Eat with caution, and keep the portions small until you measure your own body's reaction to this product!

Pros: Tastes like the regular pasta
Cons: cost more

I couldn't taste any difference, and it didn't stall me. I bought 6 boxes, to begin with, then went back for a basket load full. I couldn't believe it! I hear that they are going to do the same process to rice. Won't that be great! I've made pasta salad, mac and cheese, spaghetti, etc, and it is wonderful.

Pros: texture, taste, price
Cons:

What a find! Walmart is carrying this pasta, my family cannot discern any difference from high-carb pasta, and what a lifesaver for weak moments. Did not seem to affect my ketosis at all!

Pros: tastes better than regular pasta
Cons: not a thing except it may be too good to be true

I still have my doubts as to the carb counts the manufacturer claims, but if it's true, it's a revolutionary item in the low carb world. I've used the elbows to make mac & cheese so far (the one item I miss with a passion from my pre-low carb days). I actually liked it better than when I used to use regular pasta. I noticed it didn't have that starchy, slimy pasta residue that regular pasta has. I will only be using this once in a blue moon, though, as I am afraid it will impede my weightloss efforts. When I hit maintenance, though, I plan on having this pasta once a week.

Pros: Great texture, not as pricey as other LC "pastas"
Cons: Too good, danger of overindulging

Tried this tonight and I was VERY pleased. Great texture, cooked up just like the "real" thing and no funky smells or aftertastes. Even my boyfriend was impressed.

Although I found it a bit pricier than regular pasta, it's well worth it in my opinion. Was a bit hesitant to try this product after trying the CarbOptions pasta sidedish (BLECH... ICK, ICK, ICK!!!) but now I'm glad I did.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Are you kidding?

I too, had to be convinced about the "digestible carb" thing, but I feel ok about it now. Tastes just like "regular" pasta to everyone I've served it to. The only problem for me is keeping the serving size reasonable.

Pros: Truely doesn't affect ketosis
Cons: Nothing negative about it!

I tested for ketosis before trying this product... then ate it... tested an hour later.. still in ketosis... tested 4 hours later... still in ketosis... tested the next morning... STILL in ketosis. Also a few people used their glucose meters when using this product and was very please to see little change when eating this. To me... this is one of those miracle products out there and with dreamsfields you can make this diet much more liveable!

Pros: delicious taste
Cons: price

This stuff is delicious.

It was more expensive than regular pasta, but I had $.75 coupons that I doubled so it was well worth the expense.

I love the elbow macaroni with mayo and lots of tuna Smile

And I thought the portion size was actually pretty generous.

Cons: It is more expensive than regular pasta.

This is a great product. I like to use it in soups. I just wish they made lasagna noodles.

Pros: TASTES JUST LIKE PASTA
Cons: NONE

I didn't try it for a long time because I had tried the other LC pastas and would rather give up pasta than eat them. I finally got tempted and couldn't believe how good it is! I do bloat a little after eating it but haven't had any permanent weight gain. It's wonderful to be able to make pasta dishes again!
