Description:

Pasta lovers can get back to loving pasta.
Using natural wheat-based ingredients, AIPC has managed to decrease carbohydrates by increasing both fiber and protein content. The result is pasta with fewer total carbs and fewer "net carbs" (total carbs minus fiber or other non-digestible carbs) than both whole wheat and whole-wheat blend pastas. And because there's no added soy, both taste and texture is preserved. With half the carbs, and all the taste, this is pasta the way it was meant to be — eaten.
What is Reduced Carb Pasta?
We have decreased the carbohydrates in our pasta by using natural wheat-based ingredients to increase the fiber and protein content. The result is pasta with fewer total carbs and fewer net carbs than both whole wheat and whole-wheat blend pastas. And because there's no added soy, both the taste and texture of traditional pasta is preserved.
What are the net carbs in this pasta?
Net carbs in a two-ounce serving of our uncooked pasta is 19g compared with 39g in regular pasta — 50 percent less.
Where does the extra fiber come from?
Modified wheat starch boosts the fiber content.
How are net carbs determined?
Subtract fiber, sugar and sugar substitutes if any, from total carbohydrates to determine the net carbs.
Does it taste good?
Yes! We use wheat protein rather than soy protein in our Reduced Carb Pasta, so it tastes like pasta, not soybeans.
How is the texture of the cooked Reduced Carb Pasta?
The texture is excellent because it's made with semolina (durum wheat) and added wheat protein.
Is it okay to eat "regular" pasta?
Complex carbohydrates, or "good carbs" like pasta, absorb more slowly into the body, providing sustained energy - compared to simple carbs such as sugar and honey. These good carbs provide essential energy for the body and the mind, helping you maintain the necessary nutritional balance your body needs.
Are there special cooking instructions for Reduced Carb Pasta?
Please follow the "Easy Cooking Instructions" found on each package of Reduced Carb Pasta. Please note that overcooking Reduced Carb Pasta will make the pasta firmer.

Just tried this pasta and it really was very good. Takes about 12-15 minutes to cook, but well worth the wait. No comparison to the other brands now on the market. They should all take a look at Muellers.

I have just eaten the rotini pasta, and it tasted delicious, my husband and sister enjoyed them as well, they said they couldnt taste a difference. I made them into a pasta salad using kraft carbwell italian dressing. I will be checking my blood glucose levels in an hour to see if there was an effect from eating them, but they tasted great. Also, got them on sale at Aldis!

I made a great macaroni salad with this-no one knew the difference. Not for people who like mushy pasta-I tend to overcook pasta by mistake so this product is great for me!

They have finally come up with something that taste like pasta. The price is not expensive like others and you really can not tell the difference. You dont have to sacrifice to enjoy a noodle. I purchase it in bulk to have it on hand.

Good taste

Just a tad dry

This is the best low carb pasta I've tasted to date. I'm throwing out all the other brands in our pantry because they don't even come close to real pasta. Although Muellers seemed just a tad dryer than regular pasta, the taste difference was minimal.

My family doesn't seem to be able to tell the difference and it's nice to have a taste of this occassionally. It does take a bit longer to cook than regular pasta.

I haven't tasted this one yet, always ate Dreamfields and can't find Mueller's LC to test blood sugar with it as a diabetic..... but just a tip: The less you cook pasta, the less carbs you intake from it so try to cook all pastas as little as you can possibly bear.
