I tried the Blueberry flavor. It's nice and crunchy...almost too crunchy. I like it plain (dry) as a snack more than with milk or cream. Overall, unexciting but will give your your cereal fix if you need one!

Pros:

Good when they are crunchy, but sort of a bland taste to them
|
|
Cons:
|
Not too good once they get soft
|
|
This is a pretty good substitute if you are really craving a bowl of cereal, but I would rather eat a bowl of oatmeal (kind that you cook 5 min.). I think they need to put some kind of spices in the cereal or something so it won't taste so bland. The banana nut flavor just did not come out in the cereal enough.

I like a bowl of this cereal with some half & half and a few fresh berries. It doesn't fill me up as well as some kind of breakfast meat or cheese does, however. It's a nice change of pace.

This was OK...and leave it to Atkins Nutritionals to get rid of something that actually tasted GOOD (e.g. Atkins Flakes) and replace it with something that wasn't. If I had just tried the Blueberry Bounty cereal w/o ever knowing there was an Atkins Flakes out there, I may have had a different opinion, but I think these are horrible and I will stick to Keto Crisp from now on.

We have tried the Blueberry and Banana Nut. My husband liked the Blueberry while I liked the Banana Nut. We both found them to be very filling and usually only eat 1/2 a serving. If you looking for a traditional "flake" type cereal, these aren't quite it, they are a bit heavier in texture, but I find them to be pretty good and will buy them again.

Well, after so many eggs, I was thrilled to have cereal! Ate with soymilk. The cereal looks like regular cereal, but is heavier and thicker and takes much longer to chew. The banana flavor seems a little "fake" like banana popsicle flavoring. It is crunchy, though, and I have crushed some to use as piecrust and also use as a quick snack (dry) at work. I think the packaging is a bit misleading, or perhaps just "overpackaged", since the bag of cereal only takes up half the box.

Like other people, after eating eggs every morning I was so happy to have cereal again! I've never been an eggs & bacon type of breakfast person. I always ate cereal, yogurt or a danish for breakfast. Gimme sweets! I enjoyed the Blueberry with Carb Countdown on it. It didn't get soggy, which is a plus. It had a nice crunchy texture, and was quite sweet. It's also good for a snack.

PRICE!! Why must it be so expensive? The box is tiny!

I actually really like the cereal. I got the Banana Nut flavor and I am definitely going to get another box when this when I run out. I actually look forward to eating this for breakfast, which is a nice change from dreading other Atkins-marketed meals.
The price is insane, though. Before I was hard-up for low-carb options, I would have told you that any cereal that costs almost $6 a box had better have gold-plated flakes. I guess they know they've got us.
One slightly disturbing thing is the way the flakes puff up in milk. We used to have a dog who wouldn't eat his dry food unless we poured his water in with it. The kibbles got all pale and puffy and floated around the bowl. When I saw the flakes puff up, I had quite a flashback to overcome.

How can I describe the flavor of this cereal, HMMMM. First, take a large sheet of poster board, then take an airbrush, fill the tank with quick drying Nutrasweet, spray the entire board with Nutrasweet, bake for twenty minutes, bring it out to your garage and place the hardened poster board over two saw horses, take a sledge hammer and strike the board at an approximate 45 degree angle, collect all pieces of the poster board, place it in a fermetically sealed bag, put it in a cardboard box, stamp the box with the "Atkins" logo, seal the box, put "$4.99" on the box, then sell this box of Nutrasweet flavored cardboard to some idiot in Chicago.
There you have it folks, Atkins Morning Start Cereal.
My biggest fear is when I find myself at the Mayo clinic in the Gastrointestinal unit and the leading M.D. says to his collegues, "Hey guys, you gotta see this!!" And there, upon a well illuminated MRI of my lower intestine, is a piece of Atkins Morning Start cereal lodged in my colon.

This was waaaaaay too sweet. The texture was ok (very similar to other high fiber brands) and I appreciated the addition of almonds to the crunchy almond crisp. But they totally overdid the sweet, in an attempt to make it more like "kid's cereal", I guess. The aftertaste from all the sweetener was a big turn off. Also, if you use a scale to weigh out your 30 grams (1 serving), it barely covered the bottom of the cereal bowl. I am looking for a way to get more fiber into my diet, and I guess I'll have to keep looking. Good idea, but poorly executed.

This gets a little chewy in milk, but it has a good taste, and I had really missed breakfast cereal. I love this with Carb Countdown and cream. Since it's expensive, I do measure out the 2/3 cup serving to make sure I don't use up the box too fast... but I sometimes go back for a little more.

i eat the almond every morning with a mixture of full-fat yogurt and unsweetened yogurt. i measure out 2/3 a cup and according to the package, there should be 9 servings in that box. there are about 4-5, which makes me question the carb info. is it really 3 carbs for 1/3 of a cup? anyone know?

This is great, and the price is worth it just to have a "crunch" and to be able to trick my brain into thinking I can still have my beloved bowl of cereal on the WOE!
I've tried the Blueberry and it's SWEET, but yummy! Go! Rush! Buy it now!!!
PS. it's so much better than the Keto cereals!!
