Description: The Low Carb Thickburger maintains the same substantial 1/3-pound Angus beef hamburger patty as the original, but varies slightly in toppings. In order to reduce the amount of carbs, the bun was removed and the burger is served wrapped in iceberg lettuce leaves. The amount of ketchup was also reduced. The burger is also topped with mustard, mayo, cheese, tomato, red onion and dill pickles. The result is 49 fewer grams of carbohydrates.
The Hardee's Low Carb Thickburger is served in a paper "half wrap" and comes in its own cardboard carton, both of which make eating a lettuce-wrapped, bunless burger a much easier task than would be the case with typical fast-food packaging.

Pros: Fast Food for the low-carber!
Cons:

This is great! Finally, a burger that I didn't have to take off the bun (which can be a mess when you are the one driving).

The burger is served in a box, not just a paper wrapper. The meat is wrapped up in iceburg lettuce leaves then a wax like paper over the lettuce for ease in eating (otherwise the lettuce makes for slippery and messy eating).

I haven't been to Hardee's in a long time, but I am sure I'll be there at least once a week when I need a quick bite to eat between jobs.

Pros: Good taste; truly low carb
Cons: Messy

On my first purchase, the girl behind the counter tried to sell me the combo. Upon inquiring about what constituted a combo, her reply was, of course, FRIES AND A COKE.

Great for those times when you didn't plan your meal ahead.
I thought it was great how they wrapped it like they did...

Pros: Very GOOD and filling!
Cons: slippery

We have Carl's Jr where I live which is a sister chain, so it is the same product. I'm glad to have something I can wrap my hands around instead of using a fork.

Pros: Tastes great...
Cons: just a little messy

I loved the Thick n Tasty Low Carb burger! I too had the experience of the girl asking behind the counter if I would like the combo. I fell for it, and asked, what comes with the combo? Fries and Drink....I just looked at her and said "Why would I get low carb then order French Fries". No answer for that. Other than that, the burger was very tasty. I keep tasting something sweet in it though and haven't figured that out yet, but is very yummY!

Pros: Great tasting
Cons: Watch for the ketchup

Very nice burger, wrapped in a way you can acutally manage.

It seems to come with ketchup by default, so be sure to ask them to hold it if you want to avoid it.

Pros: Yum, Yum, Yum
Cons:

They are at Carl's Jr by me (same owners), they are so good and filling. I love the bacon guacamole burger also.

Pros: Darn Delicious
Cons: It's big but gone so fast!

This is a special treat we have when we go in to the big city! A buger you can get your hands onto. Very good and my vote for best burger.

Pros: Fresh crunchy taste of the veggies
Cons: Remind them to take off the ketchup

I LOVE these - I have them take of the mayo and ketchup and ADD BACON MMMMMMMMMM This is expensive but not so bad when you don't get it as a combo I usually get two and a big diet coke.

Pros: Another low carb fast food option
Cons: too much meat

Pretty good choice. I thought that there was a little too much meat. It's way too messy to eat on the go. It's alot cheaper to get a whopper and remove the bread.

Pros:
Cons:

I just had the lc burger yesterday and it was excellent! Would definatly recommend this and also that morning had their lc breakfast bowl which consists of fried eggs w/ a sausage patty in the middle topped w/ cubed ham and chedder cheese and mozarella and crumbled bacon. Very tasty only 6 grams carb. Highly recommend!!!

Pros: Tasted Awesome
Cons: Very Expensive, Regular Ketchup?!?!

These do taste wonderful. However it was like 8 dollars for one burger with a diet coke. They also put ketchup on these as well. I saw that they offer a low-carb BBQ Chicken sandwich which had BBQ sauce. Are they clueless, or what? I would rather go to Wendy's a get a Triple w/ cheese combo, minus the bun of coarse, and sub fries with a Caesar side salad. It costs less than $6.

Pros: Excellent taste, filling
Cons: Too much fat for my WOE

The LC breakfast bowl is a good choice for when you must eat breakfast on the go - especially for those using extremely LC WOEs like Atkins. It is tasty and filling. I wish they would offer a whole grain bread choice for the 'good carb' type WOEs.

Pros: I didn't even miss the bun! Yummy! GREAT Tasting Angus MEAT!
Cons: I tend to eat it too fast because it's not easy to pick up and put down.

I salivate every time I see a Hardees now! Mmmmmm good!
