They only will offer you Low-Carb options to put on it as well - which makes your choices easier. No different than a wrap you make at home though, and kind of small. It's nice having a Low-Carb "fast food" option though. No reg. mayo It's great to see that we low-carb eaters are finally getting more options when dining out. Before this wrap, I used to eat the salads w/ meat and cheese at Subway. It got very boring! The wrap is a regular size wheat tortilla. I haven't tried the two specialty wraps, but I'm sure I will soon. YOu can make any regular sub into a wrap. I usually just have a cold cut meat and cheese. It is smaller than the bread, but with all the low carb fixings-quite filling. All they need now is to see Pork Rinds and life woudl be good! One word of caution-the Subways in my area carry only LITE mayo-no regular mayo..so I am disappointed that they don't carry the regular mayo. The wrap itself was very similar to any high carb wrap. I will say this- the sooner you eat it, the better it tastes, meaning don't buy it and expect it to be as awesome an hour later. And, as with all new things at chains, it does also depend on who is behind the counter. The first time I got this, the man who helped me knew what he was doing and he wrapped it very nicely. Now, the second man, he just didn't wrap it as neatly. No biggie, but it's easier to eat this when it's neatly wrapped- especially take-out! Cons: Small for the price Had the Chicken/Bacon and it was grrrreat! I was expecting a "Tortilla Factory"-like tortilla and was very pleased to find that Sub-Way's own is MUCH better. Not near as heavy and grainy tasting. While it was on the small size for the price, it was chocked full of fresh, delicious ingredients, including the dressing. Very adequate for a LC lunch. Guess I'm just spoiled from pre-LC days when a 6" sub (loaded) made 2 meals for me. LOL It's also great that you are not limited as to choices. You can order ANY sub-sandwich as a LC wrap. Major plus! NOTE: If any of you have a Hometown Hero Sub Shop in your area, try their LC Sub. It is served on a delicious LC roll, just like a "real" sub sandwich. They advertise they can make any sandwich into a wrap or a salad. I prefer to make my own wraps at home.
