Pros:
Cons:

I recently tried the Strawberry flavor and thought it was pretty good. The taste was a little 'artificial', but after going so long without real ice cream, it was a welcome treat. It was cold and the texture was good, but it was softer than I normally like it. I have yet to try the vanilla and chocolate. I would definitely buy this again.

Pros: Delicious, creamy taste.
Cons: Expensive

My review concerns only the chocolate, which is the only flavor I've tried.

This is easily the best low carb ice cream I've ever tried. It has a rich, creamy taste, and you'd never know it was missing the sugar. It's low in carbs (4 net per serving). I've never noticed any kind of weird aftertastes or anything like that.

Pros: Creamy texture
Cons: not as 'hard' if you like that sort of ice cream

I tried the vanilla- my boyfriend and I love it with some LC granola sprinkled on top. It's very flavorful... just not as 'hard' as regular ice cream, but quite creamy, which I don't mind. I didn't find it to stall me, either.

Pros: Taste, texture
Cons: Price

I have tasted both strawberry and chocolate and would highly reccomend chocolate to everyone. The strawberry was a little fake, but like I said, that chocolate is fantastic!!! Everyone should keep some on hand for a sweet craving!

Pros: Reasonably priced
Cons:

I have tried the vanilla and chocolate. Re vanilla, if I were blindfolded, I don't think I would know the difference between this and Breyer's regular vanilla. Re: chocolate, it's not quite as smooth, but it fills the bill for me. Also, on sale I have purchased for as low as 1.98! PS, this so much better than Atkins ice cream offerings and way way cheaper. Kudos to Breyers!

Pros: Great taste and texture!
Cons: None whatsoever!

I can't say enough about this product! I love it! I tried the vanilla and it is flavorful and creamy in texture. Some of the reviews said it wasn't hard enough. In my freezer it hardened just like any other ice cream has that I have had. As a matter of fact I let it set out a few minutes so it will start melting. I love it this way! Again, you can't go wrong with this product. (Vanilla anyhow) Buy some now!

Pros: great taste, very creamy, satisfies the sweet
Cons: Contains HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP

For taste and consistency this rates a 10. But the fact that the #2 ingredient is high fructose corn syrup is a huge disappointment. It may be sweetened with splenda as listed on the label, but the majority of the sweet taste obviously comes from SUGAR.

Pros: taste and texture
Cons: cost

I have tried all three flavors and they all are good. The strawberry taste a little artificial, but the vanilla is absolutely wonderful. The vanilla contains flecks of vanilla beans and my family cannot tell the differenece between the full-carb and the CarbSmart. I keep a supply in my freezer all the time!

Pros: very low carb
Cons: none

Bought Vanilla and strawberry, several time. Hubby is big ice cream eater. We have tried several low carb and no suger added types of Ice Cream This one is softer (even in my big freezer), no after taste, has good favor. I make my root beer floats with vanilla. To eat ice cream I prefer more junk in it.

Pros: great taste
Cons:

The one thing we were really missing was ice cream and when I saw this in the store I was so excited. ~ We tried it & loved it! We had the chocolate w/ a sprinkle of strawberries and peanuts and a little whipped cream!-AWESOME! This is such an exciting way to eat.

Pros: Just like regular ice cream
Cons: I can't stop eating it!

I can't get enough of this stuff. I have tried both the chocolate and vanilla. I liked the vanilla a lot, but the chocolate is my new best friend. Stir in a spoonful of peanut butter and go to town!

Pros: Taste!!!
Cons:

I've only tried the chocolate, but it is really good!! No artificial taste and it is very creamy. It isn't as hard as other ice creams, but that was fine for me. It almost had a soft serve ice cream taste and texture. Yummy!!

Pros: Very Creamy and Delicious
Cons: a little bit of artificial flavor but wonderful anyway

I loved this stuff. It really keeps me on track. I have 1/2 a cup a night after dinner. I love the consistancy and the fact that it somehow stays cold while you are eating it.

Pros: Taste and price
Cons: none

Delicous. I've had the vanilla and chocolate, plus the ice-cream bars and fudge bars. All are wonderful and the price is MUCH better than the Atkins products. Try putting some sugar-free raspberry syrup and some fresh strawberries on the vanilla...DELICOUS! Or make a root beer float. The chocolate fudge bars are only 3 net grams of carbs and have a wonderful creamy texture. I love this product!

Pros: tastes like the real thing
Cons: cost

I just tried the butter pecan and it was amazing. I can't tell a difference between this and regular Bryer's ice cream. I've also tried the ice cream bars and those are good as well... but for me nothing beats this butter pecan! I was getting tired of the plain old vanilla, chocolate, strawberry.

Pros: Tastes like the real deal!
Cons: None

My kids eat alot of ice cream and it always tempts me. Found this at the local grocer and I am so happy! My kids can't even tell the difference (teenagers) so that says something about the taste! I did find myself eating too much of it though so I had to cut back and get some "real" food for a change. Delish!!

Pros: Taste
Cons: Texture isn't quite like regular ice cream, but still good

Have only tried the chocolate. Has good flavor and no weird aftertaste. However, I disagree with most other reviewers. I would NOT describe the texture as creamy. The texture isn't bad but it's definitely not as creamy as regular ice cream.

Pros: Great taste, great price.
Cons: None.

I have had both vanilla and chocolate and found them to be very good ice creams. The chocolate was as good as any regular I've tasted. The vanilla was maybe a step down from Breyer's regular, to me it had a different texture. That is not saying anything bad about it though, it was still great and makes a great base for any dessert. As far as price it is the same as Breyer's regular line so if you catch it on sale it beats the heck out of any other low carb ice cream on price as well, anywhere from 2.99 to 4.99 for a half gallon. I've seen pints of competitors for that price.

Pros: Excellent taste, great for kids
Cons: Can hardly find it in my supermarket!

The vanilla is the best EVER, and my Dad worked for Haagen Dazs for 20 years!!

I'm not crazy about the chocolate, good taste but not creamy enough, it lasted weeks in my house which says a lot for a blatant choco-holic! I could eat the vanilla forEVER!

Pros: Delicious!
Cons: Price if not on sale

The vanilla was as good as I've ever tasted with a high carb ice cream. I haven't tried the chocolate yet, but the strawberry is very weak in flavor and quite artificial tasting. However, it's still good if you don't have any other flavor on hand!

Pros: Taste and texture
Cons: I wish it had less milk (high in sugars)

I have had the chocolate as well as the strawberry, and love them both. It is true that the Splenda creates a tad of bitterness in the strawberry for some reason, but not everyone can taste it, and it certainly doesn't bother me. I like to top the strawberry with some sliced fresh strawberries tossed in Splenda, and although I've not yet tried it, I think a scoop of vanilla in A&W diet root beer would be awesome! Also, try a scoop of vanilla on top of a bowl of fresh or frozen blueberries, which are naturally locarb, low glycemic. I have been lo-carbing for many years now, and have tasted lots of horrible products. I never dreamt that I'd eat ice cream again, other than home-made (heavy cream, water, strawberries & Splenda) but this product is really fantastic!

Generally I avoid sweets so my addiction to carbs doesn't kick in, but this ice cream is really a pleasure I think worth the risk. Oh, and one more point -- I wrote Dreyer's (Edy's) Ice Cream once years ago to recommend that they do a truly lo-carb ice cream and they did not jump on the idea. Kudos to Breyers for this product!!!!!!! My market cannot keep it in stock!
