Tastes like sugar

|
Cons:
|
slight aftertaste (to me at least)
|
|
The best artificial sweetener, I think. It has a little bit of an aftertaste that I don't taste as much if it has been cooked.

I love this stuff and recommend it to everyone. I can't stand equal, sweet-n-low, etc because of the aftertaste. I have been using this every since the first taste (over a year ago). I recommend it to everyone I know.

GREAT TASTING SUGAR REPLACEMENT
|
|
Cons:
|
A bit of an aftertaste in some recipes.
|

I exclusively use this in my kitchen. Great product - adds that needed sugar kick to all of your recipes. I've used it as a replacement in all of my recipes and it always works great. I do recommend using a bit less than you normally would, as it is quite sweet.

This seems to be the product to use when baking, although it takes a bit more than equal amount of sugar to get the same sweetness. Definitely recommend it.

I'm definitely a Splenda fan. To me, it doesn't have the aftertaste that Nutra Sweet and Sweet n Low have. I use it in my desserts, and no one can tell they're sugar free! I especially love making Splenda Jello with homemade whipped cream and Splenda Kool-Aid.
In my opinion, Splenda and Stevia liquid are the best sweeteners available on the market today.

I've used it for over a year. No after taste in anything to me. Best sweetner on the market! I use it in place of sugar for my family.

I love Splenda. Have been using the packets for over a year. Have also baked with it and it's great. Many more products are being made with Splenda, and hopefully more will be. I love the Diet Rite sodas that are made with Splenda.

Icky aftertaste

Sorry folks, I've tried and tried to use this stuff but can't get over the aftertaste, it's just pure "ick" to me. I'd rather have no sweetner in my coffee then to use this. The products that I buy with splenda in them are ok, probably because of the other flavors that mask the splenda.

I use this in baking and, combined with Erythritol, have made lots of desserts that to me are undetectable in terms of artificial sweeteners. (1 cup sugar in a recipe = 1/2 cup Splenda + 1/4 cup Erythritol = delicious)
The big drawbacks to me are
1. the big bag, the equivalent of 5 lbs of sugar, costs 9.99
2. Even for that price, my local markets don't carry them
3. They fluff the Splenda up with other stuff so it isn't quite carb free. Apparently the liquid Splenda is, but we can't get that here.

I just love Splenda. I don't like the aftertaste of Equal or Sweet-n-Low, but Splenda is great. I use it as my sweetener in everything and make Kool-Aid with it too.
