By far, the BEST low-carb muffin mix out there!! I have compared this to the Atkins Muffin mixes...While Atkins muffin mixes are OK, once you make the Chocolate Chip Ketogenics brands, you will never go back!! You will swear you are cheating, they are THAT good...and they freeze well too!

I made the apple cinnamon bran last night, and it is excellent! I've tried several of the other muffin mixes out there, and this one is the best yet... *and* lower-carb than most. Based on ideas from the 'net, I substituted Davinci Gingerbread syrup for the water and added a teaspoon of butter extract -- YUM! (Sorry, can't remember the price...)

OK, wanted to add this entry since I found my receipt... they're rather expensive but since it's just an occassional treat, I will definitely buy again.

Pros:

Close to a real muffin
|
|
Cons:
|
too dry
|
|
We tried the Apple Cinammon and Chocolate Chip. They were ok out the oven, but weren't very good the next dayl. A little on the dry side, but definitely took care of my craving for a muffin.

The chocolate chip are amazing and the apple is pretty good too. Wasn't too impressed with the blueberry. We keep them on hand in the freezer and after a few seconds in the microwave and some butter on them they are the best thing around. YUM

Good flavor, consistancy and definitely a must for when the carb cravings start.

Cons:

I added fresh blueberries to both the Apple/Cin and the Blueberry. They keep about a week, stored in a thick plastic bag. Do not store until completely cool.

Both the Apple/Cin and Blueberry are very good. They look good and can be stored about a week. I disagreed with the person who said the Apple/Cin didn't bake well. I had a good experience with it. I prefer adding fresh blueberries to both. When using the stored muffins, I halve and slather with butter and broil briefly. Yummy!

This is by far the best low-carb mix I've ever baked! I just made the Apple Cinnamon. The kit comes with a can of chopped apple and the mix itself and you add oil, water, and 3 eggs. I made them using mini muffin tins. They just taste really good, with a nice texture, just the right sweetness, and delicious apple pieces.
They don't taste like sawdust the way some of the other mixes turn out.

husband eats them all!

I've tried Choc Chip and Apple Cinnamon and love them both. I've been experimenting with the Divinchi syrups and I put three pumps into the Choc Chip batter and they taste incredible!! It actually made them more moist and they rose a little bit better. I may try the White Choc syrup in the batter next - or Amaretto!

The best low carb muffin mix I have ever had. I substitute a half cup DaVinci SF syrups (plus and extra half cup for one cup total liquid) and they come out moist and fluffy. Great with Da Vinci cherry syrup-chocolate and cherry great flavor pair! I eat these daily, good source of fiber too.
