First in its class, LeCarb Dairy Drink uses the science of membrane technology, to remove most of the lactose from regular whole milk. Wholesome ingredients like milk proteins and calcium are then added back to fortify the product before it is slightly sweetened with Splenda, a great-tasting no-calorie sweetener made from real sugar.
LeCarb Dairy Drink not only meets the needs of low-carb dieters, but that of parents trying to moderate their children's sugar intake and provide wholesome snacks as it contains 67 percent less sugar, 35-50 percent more protein and all the calcium of regular whole milk.
The drink is available in 64-ounce cartons in three varieties: LeCarb Dairy Drink and LeCarb Low Fat Dairy Drink, which have 4 to 4.5 grams of carbohydrates compared to 12 in regular whole milk, and LeCarb Chocolate Dairy Drink, which contains only six grams of carbohydrates compared to 28 to 32 grams in regular chocolate whole milk.
Q. How many grams of carbohydrates in a serving of LeCarb Dairy Drink?
A. There is a maximum of 6 grams of carbohydrates per serving, depending on the variety.
Q. How does LeCarb Dairy Drink compare to regular whole milk?
A. LeCarb Dairy Drink has as much calcium as regular whole milk, but has 80 percent less sugar and the lactose has been reduced, a great plus for lactose-intolerant consumers.
Q. How much fat is in each serving of LeCarb Dairy Drink?
A. An 8 ounce serving contains 4.5 grams of total fat (2 percent Low Fat Variety) to 9 grams of total fat (Homogenized variety). Saturated fat ranges from 2.5 grams to 6 grams.
