This is rich and wonderful. It's so nice to be able to drink chocolate 'milk' again. And no aftertaste or weird texture like so many of the shakes have.

Pros:

Consistency is like regular milk. Lots of protein. Sweetened with Splenda.
|
|
Cons:
|
Flavour is alittle different if you aren't used to "dairy beverages". Once opened, it becomes perishable very quickly.
|
|
I got the 2% milk beverage. I just had to have a bowl of cereal and I saw this at the grocery. I read the ingredients and thought it might taste alright...water, fat-free milk, cream and whey protein and buttermilk...and Splenda! Since I've never had anything but "real" milk, this tasted alittle unusual, but once in my cereal, it was terrific!! I used it in my holiday cooking and it worked just fine. I don't know how it would do just as a glass of milk, but I was really pleased with it and in Atkins Blueberry cereal....it's really good!

I had never heard of this before today. I bought the chocolate flavor. After getting home and receiving raves from my husband and 5-year-old, I tried it after supper. I added a little instant coffee to a cup of it and warmed it up in the microwave. It is a very good mocha!

Not EXACTLY milk but hey....good try!
|
|
I buy both the chocolate and the regular milk. My son likes them both as well, and since he has to have protein in the morning to take his meds....it works out perfectly! The chocolate is HEAVEN, after missing chocolate milk so horribly. It isn't exactly milk, but it is as close as I think somebody could get. They are both pretty good by themselves, and the regular milk is also good over low-carb cereal. They last longer than milk too!

I cannot believe anything could be this great!
I have missed milk so bad, I used the Westsoy slender but did not like it plain.
I cannot wait to use this with my splenda Chai tea mix. I am on my way to buy the chochlate at safeway.....I love the fat free plain by the glass. YUMMY!!

Bought the fat-free (was the only flavor left at the Super Wal-Mart) I drank a glass plain and thought it was very close to regular skim milk, which is what I used before this WOE. I've used it successfully to make gravy. I love that we now have an alternative to heavy cream! Will definitely buy again and hope to try the chocolate flavor!

This milk is great. I bought the Chocolate and the Regular, and so far have only tried the Chocolate one, but I was sooo impressed! I warmed it up like hot cocoa and felt like I was cheating I'd really suggest trying this out.

My husband thought he died and went to heaven when he tasted this. He's a big milk drinker and milk was what he missed the most on this diet. The chocolate makes great hot chocolate. I've used it to makie S/F pudding and in cooking the results have been great!

This is the BEST!!! I absolutey love the chocolate. The whole milk is a bit too thick for me, but it tastes great. One of the hardest things for me to give up was the milk. So this is the best product ever!!!! You have to try this stuff!!!!!

A bit more expensive than milk, but worth every penny. I was born and raised in Dairyland (Wisconsin) so it was VERY hard for me to give up milk. I was so happy to find this stuff!!! I use the Fat Free on my Atkins Blueberry cereal in the morning. I also use it in my coffee with some DaVincis or Torani SF syrup. Yum! Tastes exactly like the skim milk I used to drink every day. It's a great source of calcium.
If you want to try something really incredible, try the Chocolate. Whether straight out of the container or heated up as cocoa, this stuff is awesome! I fill my popsicle molds with this and a capful of Torani English Toffee SF syrup. It makes a wonderful low-carb fudgesicle!
This is a must-have item for chocolate lovers on low-carb diets.

This is an awesome product for people on lifetime maintenance to drink by the glass full. It's even good for those on very low carb levels because it has less carbs than cream. The "whole milk" version is very thick and works well as a cream substitute in drinks like coffee/tea. The fat free version is great for cereal and by itself.
The chocolate is awesome hot or cold.

Review for Chocolate flavor
I was never a big milk drinker, but this product may just change all of that. The packaging is quite nice, with a plastic pour spout and screw on lid. The consistency of the beverage is thick and creamy with an excellent "mouthfeel". The flavor is quite rich, very velvety and chocolately. The carb count is very low for this type of product and didn't adversely affect my ketosis. A super find in my regular grocery. I am very very impressed with this product!

I love this stuff! The 2% has been great over Atkins cereal, although I have to doctor it up with cream -- I'd buy the whole version if I could find it, but all the stores I've seen this in carry just the 2%, skim, and chocolate.

I bought the whole milk kind 3 carbs in 8 oz and it is good. I think it has a bit of a sourness to it, but it well worth it to have a little milk now and then, I used it to make my ranch dressing and have used it in cooking just like regular milk.

I about fell over when I first saw this in the milk isle, I bought some to try the 2%, after opening the carton for the first time I wrinkled my nose in anticipation of tasting something weird, but to my suprise it tasted like MILK!!!!!!!!!!... I have purchased all 3 varieties.. and as I type this I have both the Chocolate and Whole in my fridge.... Thank YOU for FINALLY making Low Carb main stream enough that you produced a MILK Alternative!!!!!!!!

Of course, I was a bit apprehensive about low-carb anything. I really miss milk when lo-carbing. This satisfies. In some ways, it's better than milk, nutrionally and in taste. It has an almost light vanilla flavor to it, which I enjoy. I'm happy I found this product and will certainly continue to buy it. If you really want that glass of milk here and there, get this product!

I bought it because of the previous reviews here, but I think maybe you guys have been on low carb too long. This 2% stuff doesn't taste anything like milk. It works for pudding, but to drink it straight is not tolerable. I hope the chocolate is better, but I'm allergic to cocoa so I won't know.
