Thought it was too small for the price. Bothered me that I could get a giant sub with twice as much meat on it for about the same price. Their low-carb bread was good though. Better than Atkin's Bread.

Had a roast beef/cheddar with wasabi horseradish. Was quite tangy and delicious. I think there should be more meat on this sandwich, but hey, I am still thrilled to have a lowcarb fast food option!! Kudos, Blimpie!

I just tried the Baja Turkey sandwich combo meal with the soy chips and the SoBe lean drink. It was awesome!!! The bread they use is incredibly good. The soy chips weren't bad at all, but they tasted better if you ate a bite along with a bite of your sandwich.
I'm drinking the SoBe Diet Grapefruit drink right now, and it's quite good. Very refreshing.
The best part of the meal was the Zero Effective Carb brownie. I haven't made "yummy sounds" like that in years! I wish I could buy a case of them. You couldn't even tell they were low-carb! It has malitol in it of course, so if you're sensitive to malitol you might want to skip the brownie.
The only drawback to this meal was the price. $10 ($10.05 to be exact) for a small sandwich, drink, small bag of soy chips and a brownie. I won't have it often, but it will make a nice treat every now and then!

ignorance of teh workers

I ordered the Baja turkey last night. It really is a good sandwich, but be careful that you get the right bread.
The worker asked me for type of bread (and being thrilled that there was low carb choices) and I said white. She first put it on regular white bread. When I asked if that was the low carb bread she said "I thought you wanted white." Yes, the white low carb bread. I can't believe I had to explain to the blimpie's girl that the reason I ordered the sandwich was b/c the huge 3'x3' sign behind her said LOW CARB. Turns out there's only one type of bread, it's a type of wheat and it's sliced bread, not a sub.

Wonderful taste - had a coupon for the brownie - I loved everything about it except it's expensive without a coupon

Cons:

PRICE

The sandwich - AWESOME- LOADS of roast beef. I skipped the sauce, exchanged it for mayo - added lettuce and I was done - so it lowered the carb count for me. AWESOME - AWESOME - AWESOME
Chips: OMG - these are wonderful. A little salty, but ultimately the BEST low carb "chip" I've tasted - not too cardboardy, not to soy-ee.. (that's not a word) and the crunch - wonderful - I've now ordered two bags of these from a website online.
Sobe drink: Very tasty. Cranberry grapefruit. I liked it.
Brownie: OMG OMG OMG - $2.99 for this thing is a little ridiculous - I got mine free with a coupon, but the taste was Awesome! Too awesome - will have to be careful not to crave these - didn't affect my tummy with the maltitol either. I loved it.
I will DEFINITELY be going back to Blimpie for another one of these combos - but probably only once a month or so - because of price - and I want to see how it affects my weight loss.

OOPS I forgot to add that the lady that worked at my Blimpie - had done her homework! She knew ALOT about low carb - and was educated on the fact that the mayo was carbless and the vegetables that I could add that were okay veggies and she was right! I was very impressed

I about flipped when my total came to 10 bucks. This included the sandwish, drink, chips, and their low carb brownie. Which by the way was delicious! I got the sandwich back to work and they forgot to put my turkey on the bread! I did call them back, and they sent me a coupon for another sandwich. So we will give them a second chance.

Very yummy meal option! I love the baja turkey sandwich...even though i have currently fallen off the low carb wagon, i would still eat this! It's that good!
The downfall is it's price...the low carb menu will run you a couple dollars higher than their regular offerings.
