If you are looking for a great tasting hot cereal that is low in carbs, Gram's Gourmet's Cream of Flax is the product for you. It's the only hot cereal that uses whey protein exclusively, all natural flavors and NO sugar alcohols. Cream of Flax is also the only hot cereal that has pure virgin powdered coconut powder which is a natural preservative and acts as an appetite suppressant that slightly increases the metabolism, naturally. It also helps make this cereal a little more creamy.
Gram's Gourmet offers three varieties of Cream of Flax to choose from: Maple and Brown Sugar, Vanilla Almond, and Cinnamon Toast.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
It's a nice warm cereal for the morning
Cons:
it's slimy and very little of the flavor it was suppose to be
I don't know if the sliminess was just part of the flax because I've never had flax cereal before but it's not very appealing.
I also was very dissapointed in the flavor.

Compared to the Flax-O-Meal cereals, this line is creamier (though I can see how the previous poster would see it as slimy) but the flavor is excellent and the ease of prep is a big winner. They also have one or two more effective carbs per serving, but it's still very low (3) and nice and high in fiber.
I've tried the Cinnamon Toast and Maple and Brown Sugar flavors and would recommend both of them. You will need to add cream and sweetener; don't expect them to be like the equivalent Quaker Oats instant oatmeals! But they're much much better for you than those are.
Two points off for the high price, otherwise it's a delightful easy breakfast.
