Description: This Pizza Kit makes one perfect 12" pizza. Just mix the contents of the Crust Packet with water and oil to make the dough, and bake for 5 minutes at 550 degrees. Then pour on the thick, zippy sauce; follow with your favorite protein-packed pizza toppings (such as pre-cooked sausage, pepperoni, ground beef, bacon, Canadian bacon or chicken) and veggies (red or green bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, olives or garlic) and, of course, lots of cheese! Pop back in the oven for 6 minutes, then enjoy while still being true to your low-carb eating plan.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): easy to make
Cons: dough is gooey

The taste was pretty good and the pizza sauce was very good. The dough is the type you spread with a knife in the pan, which was an odd concept. But the taste was very good.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): sauce great
Cons: crust not so great

I have used the product twice. I really like the sauce. Very much like a true pizza sauce. The crust on the other hand leaves a bit to be desired. The consistancy is tough and the taste a bit off. Am looking for better crust.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Tastes great - Just like thin and crispy crust
Cons: messy to make

I rated this high because it performed as advertised. I doctored the recipe a little. I added a heaping tbsp of Italian herbs, and extra tbsp of butter, dried onion, and 2 tbsp of ground flax seed. The taste was great. I used a round pizza pan with holes and as I spread the paste it extruded through the holes and made a mess. Also, 1/4 of a pizza effected my ketosis. My stick went from medium to trace. Tastes great, but not worth the carbs.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very Easy to Make, Tasty
Cons: Crust can get too wet if you don't top/bake it correctly

I did find the dough strange...more spreadable than like a dough. I didn't have a pan with the perforations, so I was concerned. I put a bit of nonstick spray on my round pizza pan and it worked fine. The crust, before adding the toppings, actually was terrific. Not thick, nice and crusty and slightly crispy. My mistake was adding most of the sauce directly onto the crust. The sauce is very wet and it changed the texture of the crust. Next time I'll try to put on the cheese first, then toppings that have as little moisture as possible and then dot the top of those toppings with the sauce, using no more than 1/2 packet. The sauce is tasty but there's a lot more in the packet than necessary. I was surprised by how easy it was to make compared to any other "real" pizza, and am glad I bought several packages of it. A good "find". I love CarbQuik, but making the pizza dough using the yeast, proofing and rising is not something I'm likely to do for a quick meal. The Carbolicious pizza is good anytime. The whole 12" pizza, including sauce, is only 30 carbs. That's pretty good~
