Basic Italian Dressing

1/2 cup vinegar -- not balsamic
2 cloves garlic
1 package artificial sweetener
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon dijon mustard -- or any mustard
3/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup olive oil
In a blender place vinegar, garlic,
artificial sweetener, salt, pepper and
mustard.
Blend until it's creamy looking
and well blended.
With blender running, start drizzling in a blend of canola oil
and olive
oil. (You can do this by hand -but it stays blended better
this way:)).
You can also add 2-3T chopped fresh parsley or finely minced
bell pepper(add
another 2g total).
Makes 1 1/2 cups, or 24T.
