Cream of Asparagus

1 bunch asparagus
1 box chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 small onion
salt and pepper -- to taste
butter -- to taste
Steam Asparagus till tender.
Mince and fry the onion till soft. Add
asparagus and onion to blender and puree with a bit of the chicken
broth.
Add to sauce pan with remainder of chicken broth and heavy cream.
Cook on
medium heat till hot. Serve in bowls with a pat of butter and
salt and pepper.
