Pan Seared Tuna with Teriyaki Sauce

tuna steak -- (1" thick)
(1 to 2)
2 tablespoons Canola oil
6 macadamia nuts -- grated
Black Pepper -- to Taste
2 teaspoons Prudhome's Blackened Redfish Magic
Teriyaki Sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
3 cloves garlic -- chopped sauted
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons Brown Sweet 'n LowÆ sweetener
Heat canola oil in pan
Mix Redfish Magic (or similar for bit of spice) with grated nuts
Dust only one side of steaks in nut/spice mix - top with pepper
Sear unseasoned side of tuna in pan - 2 minutes for medium rare
Turn tuna for another 2 minutes. Increase time for more doneness
For Teriyaki Sauce, mix all ingredients
in sauce pan. Serve as side or over tuna steaks.
