Creamy Italian Garlic Dressing

1 large egg
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt to taste
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
In the bowl of a food processor, combine egg, mustard, garlic,
lemon juice and salt. With the machine running, add the oil in
a steady stream until it has a mayonnaise-like consistency.
Remove from the processor to a small container (preferably one
that has a tight-fitting lid, such as a tupperware) and add the
balsalmic vinegar and Italian seasoning. Mix well, refrigerate
to let the seasonings come together.
For those of you who love Marie's Creamy Italian Garlic dressing,
but don't like the price, this is a fantastic replacement for a
fraction of the cost!
