Decaf Coffee Granita

Make a pot of decaf, add artificial
sweetener to taste. Cool to room
temperature. Once cool, put in metal bowl and put in freezer.
Stir with
metal whisk every 30 minutes once u see ice beginning to form
on top (should
see first bits of ice in 2 hrs). If you don't keep stirring it,
it will become one giant block. Once it gets
to a slushy form, spoon it into glass and top with freshly whipped
cream. I
like to add a little vanilla, and some sweetener to the cream
before whipping.
This is delicious when you are craving a sweet dessert or a cool
drink on a hot day.
