Description:
|
Moroccan Kebabs, or Kefta as it is called in Morocco. They are very tasty and eaten mainly with Moroccan bread that is like a thick version of pita bread but can also be eaten without bread and served with some veggies to keep it low carb. You can also pan fry them without the skewers. This recipe can also be made with chicken, turkey, steak or lamb.

How To Prepare:

If using wooden skewers, soak in water. Combine the beef, onion, parsley, cilantro and spices in a large bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Wash your hands but do not dry them. Gently pack small amounts of the meat mixture around the skewer, forming a 4 inch sausage shape on each skewer. Grill over medium heat (preferably using charcoal) until cooked through. You can also pan fry these without the skewers if you would like over med heat.
