Description:
This is a steak that I fix at least once a week, just love it.
Ingredients:
Steak, ribeye, t-bone, NY strip,
Small jar of mushrooms drained
2 tablespoons of butter
Red wine
Black pepper and salt
How To Prepare:
melt tb of butter in small pan, put drained mushrooms in over med heat, Salt and pepper to taste. After butter cooks away and mushrooms are done to your liking add 1/2 cup or so of the red wine.
For Steak heat cast iron skittle over high heat until very hot. Melt tb of butter, I usually put small amount of olive oil in the pan it keep the butter from burning. Salt and pepper steak and place in pan. Cook to desired doneness and turn over, only once.
Remove steak and let rest.
When most of the wine has gone, cut a tb of butter in quarters. Place one quarter in to mushrooms until melted, stiring, then the next quarter and so on till all are gone.
Pour over steak and enjoy.
