Description:
This makes a very tasty fried donut-type treat. The recipe gave me about 6 healthy-sized fried breads, at about 1.5 net carbs each, without the extra splenda for topping. If you want some cinnamon flavor, add some cinnamon to the batter, too. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 egg
1/2 cup carbquik
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 T cream
a healthy splash of DaVinci vanilla syrup, enough to make it the consistency of a runny pancake batter (you could use any flavored syrup you like)
How To Prepare:
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat egg with cream and then add to the dry ingredients along with the syrup. I'd start with a couple of tablespoons of syrup and add more if needed. Scoop batter into hot oil with a large table spoon and fry until golden brown on both sides, drain on paper towels. I then sprinkled mine with additonal Splenda (add the carbs!) and cinnamon.
