Description: A low-carb version that doesn't have the 'laxative affect' like the name brands. Plus you can make almost any flavor.
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream
2 cups low-carb milk (Hood Carb Countdown)
3/4 cup Splenda (works better than Equal)
2 tsp vanilla
How To Prepare: Mix all together in ice cream maker, stir well and let the machine do the rest.

TIPS - You may have to scrap down the sides of the machine about half way through.

It turns out like a very, very thick milkshake. Freeze for about an hour or 2 to get hard like ice cream.

When freezing over night, I freeze the servings seperately, then when I want some, I let it thaw for about 10 minutes.

You can add anything you like, nuts, extracts, candies, just remember to adjust the carb count when you do.
Number of Servings: 5-6 one-cup servings
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known: approx 45 carbs in entire batch
Preparation Time: 25-40 minutes
Effort (Easy, Average, Difficult): Easy
