Stuffed Mushrooms baked in a delicious cream sauce.
1/2 cup softened butter
1 1/2 t. chopped parsley
1 1/2 t. chopped chives
1 1/2 t. chopped green onions
1/8 t. nutmeg
Salt to taste
16 to 20 large mushroom caps
3/4 cup heavy cream
How To Prepare:
Preheat oven to 450. In a bowl, combine butter, parsley, chives, onions,
nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.Wipe mushroom caps with a slightly moistened
paper towel. Stuff caps with seasoned butter and set in a shallow baking
dish. Pour heavy cream over mushrooms and sprinkle lightly with paprika.
Bake ten minutes. Serves 8 Can prepare ahead. Stuff mushrooms the day before
serving, covered and refrigerate. Pour cream over mushrooms immediately
