Description:
A new twist on green beans that will make just about anyone love their veggies!
Ingredients:
1 can of green beans (drained)
1/3 can of diced tomatoes (using the standard 14 oz. can as reference)
1-2 garlic cloves (depending on your love for garlic, for me - the more the merrier)
2 tbsp of olive oil
How To Prepare:
Heat a skillet on med. high heat and place 2 tbsp of olive oil inside. Take a standard size can of green beans and drain off ALL liquid. Place in skillet and keep stirring every minute or so as not to burn them, but you want them nice and soft. When they are close to being done (2-3 minutes), press 1-2 cloves of garlic in them and keep stirring until done (another 1-2 minutes). Then open a standard size can of diced tomatoes and use 1/3 of can, mix into the green beans and stir well. Place on simmer for just a couple more minutes and their done!
