Description:
These are tasty and easy to make. The portebella mushrooms give you the illusion of a roll.
Ingredients:
1 pound lean hamburger
4 large portebella mushrooms
minced, fresh cilantro
1 package of taco seasoning
1 onion, chopped fine
Olive Oil
sour cream for garnish
How To Prepare:
Mix hamburger, cilantro, taco seasoning and onion together. Prepare hamburger into thick burgers and place in a pre-heated skillet. Cook to your desired doneness. Meanwhile, using a damp rag, dust off mushrooms. Do NOT run under water as it will cause the shrooms to turn mushy and soft. Brush both sides of the mushroom with olive oil. Grill the mushrooms on an indoor grill or you can fry them gently in a skillet. Once burgers are done, place your mushrooms on a plate with the rounded side down. Place prepared burger on the portebella mushroom. You can then top with sour cream, tomato, pickle, or whatever else you like on burgers! Grab a fork and enjoy!
