These were great when I made them with regular tortilla shells- just as great with the low carb ones. There are many varieties of low carb tortillas out there- I particularly like the herb ones or green onion or garlic ones, myself. They are 3 net carbs each tortilla.
Any cooking oil (I have only used corn or vegetable)
Low carb tortilla shells, cut into trianges (like you would a pizza)
How To Prepare:
Heat oil in a frying pot or pan. Deep fry the tortilla trianges. Serve with the low carb cheese sauce (made by Ragu) mixed with sausage, hamburger, and salsa. (Add 1 carb per 1/4 cup dipping sauce, see dipping sauce recipe).
