Description: A wonderful alternative to cranberry sauce...and no grinding required! Thanksgiving just isn't Thanksgiving w/o cranberries and pumpkin pie!!!
Ingredients:
2 cups cranberries
1 medium apple, peeled and chopped
1/3 cup raisins
1 8-oz. can crushed pineapple in own juice
1/3 cup orange juice
1 medium orange, cut into sections
1 T. Splenda

How To Prepare: In medium saucepan, combine cranberries, apple, raisins, orange juice and Splenda. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until cranberries pop. Remove from heat. Stir in crushed pineapple and orange sections. Chill. (Can be made ahead of time. Cover and refrigerate up to 48 hours). Makes 4 cups. (10 calories per tablespoon)

I usually double the recipe because it goes so fast. Some of my family members like to ladle it over vanilla ice cream!!!
Number of Servings: 8 regular servings

Pros: sounds good, but not low carb
Cons: YIPES, there must be a lot of carbs in this

Haven't tried this one because it looks like it will be very high in carbs. Apples, pineapple, raisins, orange juice....YIPES!
