Description:
Ingredients: 1 bag fresh spinach -- rinsed and finely chopped
1/2 stick butter
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons cream cheese
How To Prepare: Melt butter in pan, add cream cheese, stir til very soft. Add spinach, and stir together til spinach is wilted and coated. Add cream and cheddar cheese, gently stir til all covered and melted. You can then bake this at 325 for 20 minutes to make it more like a casserole, if you wish.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): easy
Cons: lacks "depth"

This is a simple and good recipe for creamed spinach. We prefer it baked and have always followed the baking instructions. I think it takes a bit longer than suggested, though. It also seems to come out a bit "soupy" for my tastes; perhaps I'm not drying the spinach well enough after washing?

Positive aspects of the product (pros): easy
Cons:

My family loved this. At first my kids were "Eww, YUCK!, Do we have to eat it?" They loved it after trying it. I topped mine with a little lemon pepper and shredded parmasian then baked for about 30 minutes. I also browned low carb tortillias (cut into triangles) in a skillet. We ate it more like a dip. We will make this again!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very easy to make, had most ingredients and home already
Cons: portion control :)

This was very good- very cheesy- I could eat spinach like this nightly! I can see how this could easily be turned into a "spinach dip" by adding more cream cheese. Good recipe- thanks for posting!
