Description:
Ingredients: 1 cup protein powder --
vanilla, sifted
2 teaspoons baking powder
-- sifted
1/8 teaspoon salt -- sifted
1/2 teaspoon cream of
tartar
5 large eggs -- separated
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon peel --
finely grated
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup water
10 packages artificial
sweetener
-- (glaze:)
2 ounces heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract --
or lemon extract
3 ounces cream cheese
How To Prepare: Preheat oven to 300f. Spray
a bundt pan with cooking
spray very well.
Sift protein powder, baking
powder and salt and set
aside.
In a large bowl, beat egg
whites with cream of tartar
until stiff.
In another bowl, beat egg
yolks, artificial sweetener,
extracts and lemon
peel. Beat in water and
cream, then beat in dry
ingredients.
Fold into whites very
carefully, then spoon into
prepared bundt pan.
Bake for 45 minutes, then
let cool 10 minutes before
inverting and
removing(this is the tricky
part -just do your best):).

For the frosting: Beat the
cream, butter, cream
cheese and ectracts well. If
this is too thick, add more
cream, 1 T at a time. Drizzle
over cooled cake.
I found this to make 12-15
servings in a standard
bundt pan:)

Feel free to use any extract
flavors you like:)

Pros: Great Flavor and keeps well in frig
Cons:

I found that sprinkling a few sliced almonds in the bundt pan after spraying with pam really helps with being able to remove the cake from the pan and the almonds make a pretty cake top.

Pros: something sweet
Cons: tasted like scambled eggs

this smelled so good cooking and i got so excited but when i went to eat it the bottom was like scrambled eggs and the top was light and fluffy. maybe i mixed things wrong but it definetly did not turn out good. and the glaze was not a glaze at all and i had to add some liquid splenda to give it some flavor. will not be making this again.
