Ingredients:
1 Chicken Breast(boneless/skinless)
1/2 cup CarbSense Baking Mix or other baking mix. I prefer this it taste better than others to me and has 0 net carbs.
McCormick Broiled Steak Seasoning
Cooking Oil ( enough to cover half of strips)
1 large egg
1/2 cup water
How To Prepare:
Cut chicken breast into strips and set aside. Heat oil to normal frying temperature. While waiting on oil to heat mix egg and 1/2 cup of water in bowl. Then mix the baking mix and mcCormick seasoning(I use alot of this, untill the mix has a orange look to it) When the oil is ready dip in egg/water mixture then to baking mix/seasoning mixture and repeat once for a double dipped chicken strip and place in oil. Continue doing this till skillet is full. They will be a light golden color when done. And they are just as good as the ones I made with regular flour.
Give it a try. 0 Net CARBS (Bake mix has 4 carbs and 4 fiber so 0 Net carbs) THESE ARE HIGH IN PROTEIN (mix has 22, chicken has 36 for a total of 58)
My 5 year old son loves these also.
