Description:
Ingredients: 1 can diet coke
1/4 cup Sugar Twin Brown Sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons olive juice
1 teaspoon black pepper
Frank's hot sauce to taste
How To Prepare: Mix all ingredients in zip lock plastic freezer bag. Add meat and marinate as long as desired. I used this on pork
country style ribs - it was really great! I also boiled down the remaining marinade and used it as a sauce on the side.

Can also be used as a basting sauce. All spices listed above can be adjusted to taste!

NOTES : Counts for Diet Coke, Brown Sugar Twin and Olive Juice not included - adjust accordingly.

Pros: This marinade made delicious pork spareribs.
Cons: Cinnamon and nutmeg were too strong.

I used this marinade on pork spareribs which I marinated overnight and then cooked on the grill. I did not have any olive juice so I substituted lemon juice and the next time I make this I will use half of what the recipe calls for of the cinnamon and nutmeg. This is an easy and very flavorful marinade that was a hit with my family.
