Description:
Ingredients: 6 egg whites
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup cottage cheese
could add blueberries or fruit if you want but makes for higher carbs.
How To Prepare: Blend all these in blender - I just use a mixer ( no blender in my house) I add one packet of splenda... Then put on giddle I use olive oil so they don't stick.. and you ave high protien pancakes.. then I found low carb sugar free syrup.. Is called Vermont Sugar free low calorie syrup and made with splenda.. and only 4 grams of carbs per 1/4 cup... I am in heaven as I can't eat wheat or flour... They are great..
Number of Servings: makes about 8 med pancakes
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known: total carbs is 40. from oatmeal and cottage cheese. so about 5 carbs per pancake
Preparation Time: fast
Effort (Easy, Average, Difficult): Easy

Pros: These were good and easy!
Cons:

These got rave reviews from family. Even my father-in-law (picky & overweight eater) liked it! Will make again & again. Shhh - my secret!

Pros: It's just like a pancake
Cons: none

I make these pancakes a couple of times a week. My husband loves them too. I cover them in sugar free Log Cabin syrup. I add a tsp. of vanilla and 4 packets of Splenda to the batter for a little added sweetness.

Pros: great and easy to make
Cons: a little higher in carbs than i'd like

i made these this morning and they were delicious! i halved the recipe, since i was cooking for myself, and added some cinnamon, and they came out great. i can't wait to try them with fruit!

Pros: Healthier than flour
Cons: questioning: Oatmeal also having too many carbs

isn't oatmeal AS full of carbs as flour? Might as well use a low carb flour or even regular flour [though of course oatmeal is 'healthier' but not my point lol]. I've had to STOP eating oatmeal when I found out I was diabetic. Please PM me as well, I don't think I'll see your answer if it's only put here. Thanks
