This is the best replacement to potato chips ever. I have tried two seasonings that have been so good I wanted to slap my grama. Cinnamon made a great sweet treat. A seasoning that is a little hard to find called Serindipity was so wonderful. A little hot and gave the chips a kick.

I liked the idea, & it did get me to buy a jicama & at least try something new. I used a large food processor that had a chips slicer to slice mine thin. I used extra virgin olive oil to fry them in. They just came out too soggy. I tried to leave them in longer to make them crisp up some, but had no luck.

These are excellent! The other poster that used olive oil had a problem because olive oil isnt a high heat oil. You really must use peanut oil, and get it very hot! Cooking it longer with a low heat oil will not work... but it will make it greasy..blech.
Again, great "chips" or a sub for french fries but ya gotta use the peanut oil
