4 pieces of your favorite low carb bread
garlic salt or powder
salt, optional to taste
sliced jalepeno pepper
tomato or pizza sauce
mozzarella or provolone cheese
How To Prepare:
Generously butter a pie pan and sprinkle with garlic salt.Take 3 pieces of bread and press in the bottom of the pan, not up the sides. Butter the top and sprinkle with more garlic and some oregano. Place under broiler until light brown, turn over and brown other side a little darker than first side. Take out of broiler and tear up the last piece of bread to make a crust around the rim of the pie plate. Spread on butter so it will brown nicely.
Saute your toppings, of choice. Add pizza/tomato sauce to mixture just to heat up.
Cover crust with cheese and add toppings, the cheese helps the bread from getting soggy. Top with more cheese, sprinkle with oregano or whatever spices you want and place under broiler until bubbly....yum!

very easy to make and very tasty!
I made this recipe for our Steelers party on Sunday (3 of us do lo-carb) and everyone loved it. I am not that great of a cook and was so glad it was easy to make.
I modified the recipe a litte though: after I toasted both sides of the bread, I sprinkled the cheese on top and put it back under the broiler so there would be two layers of melted cheese. Also, instead of combining the sauce and the toppings, I layed the sauce on top of the cheese and then added the toppings to make it more of a traditional pizza. It was absolutely fantastic!
