one can of pink salmon, including the liquid
1 bag of crushed pork rinds
1 onion, chopped fine
2 shakes of tobasco sauce/hot sauce
one scoop of whey protein powder/optional canola or olive oil for frying
How To Prepare:
Mix together salmon,including juice. 1/2 of crushed pork rinds, add the finely chopped onion, eggs, protein powder and tobasco sauce/hot sauce Mix ingredients well and let it set for about 10 mins.
Make the mixture into patties like a hamburger patty. Roll the patties in the remaining crushed pork rinds. Heat oil in skillet on medium heat. Transfer patties to the heated oil and let it cook slowly, uncovered, until onion is tender and patties are brown. Note: If the crushed crumbs do not want to stick to patties, then dip the patties in an egg first, then roll in crumbs.
Number of Servings:
4-6 depending on size of patty
