shredded cabbage and/or shredded lettuce
cooked chicken breast or tuna
10 or so almond slivers
any other salad veggies you like (olives,mushrooms,avacado..etc)
1 tbsp mayo
1 tbsp cream cheese
dash salt, pepper, and garlic
How To Prepare:
In a bowl cream together the mayo,cream cheese, salt,pepper and garlic. Add in the chicken or tuna. Mix well. Add in the cabbage (I use premade cole slaw mix and pick out the carrots). Fold together. sprinkle in a few almond slivers. You can add in whatever types of seasonings you like, or change the meat or veggies.
This is a really good crunchy salad. It has some substance. This is a staple in my house now. Even my anti-cabbage husband loves it.
