1 Whole Fresh Cabbage
1/2 cup green pepper thinly sliced
1/4 cup sweet onion thinly sliced
salt and pepper (to taste)
a pinch of onion powder
1/2 pound of Chicago Style corned beef
3/4 cup of water
2 tbl. spoons of vegetable oil
How To Prepare:
Heat your water and oil to hot
Cut and clean cabbage-- do not drain completely Combine cabbage, green pepper and sweet onion Season to taste with salt and pepper Put in pot with water and oil mixture cover tightly Cook for 25-30 minutes-- stir occasionally When cabbage is "see through" it is done. ** Be sure to cover at a low-medium heat level **
