Description:
Ingredients: 6oz (1/2 pkg.) bacon or sausage crumbled


4oz mushrooms drained


1 cup each cheddar, mozzerela, swiss


1 cup chopped peppers ( I use a combo of red, green, and yellow for best flavor)
8 eggs beaten


1/4 cup heavy cream


1/2 tsp each salt and garlic salt


dash of pepper
How To Prepare: Beat eggs with cream and set aside


cook meat and crumble


saute' veggies in 2 tbls. meat drippings


add meat, veggies, and seasonings to egg mixture


Spray 8x12 pan or dish with non stick oil or coat with butter


Layer bottom of pan with half of the cheeses


Pour egg mixture on top of first layer of cheese


Layer remaining cheese over egg mixture


Bake 350 35-40 minutes until top is golden brown

Cons:

I tried this out on my sister and her family and we all fell in love with it. In fact, she asked for the recipe so she can make it again soon too!

Cons: getting up early to make it

I mixed everything the night before to save time, it is delicious whole family likes it and wants it often

Cons: salty

I only added half of the recommended salt and garlic salt and it was still too salty for me (and I love salt!). I would definetely cut back on the salt next time. The cheese and sausage add more than enough.
