Description:
A great tasting low carb pizza. This recipe makes two pizza's.
Ingredients:
Wheat flour, yeast, water, grilled or baked chicken, pineapple, shredded cheese, barbeque sauce, onion
How To Prepare:
Sprinkle 2 packets of yeast into a medium bowel containing 1 1/4 cups of water, stir until dissolved. Add 2 cups wheat flour, stir until well blended, add another 1 1/2 to 2 cups of wheat flour, stir until stiff. Turn the dough out on a floured surface, and knead the dough for 10-15 minuets until the dough is smooth and elastic. Place the dough into another bowel greased with a small amount of oil. Turn the dough once so that the top gets oil on it as well. Cover the bowel and let sit in a warm area for 45 minutes. Preheat the oven to 500 degress F. Place the dough back on the floured surface. Punch it down, getting rid of any bubbles. Divide the dough in half and let sit for a few minutes. Roll each half into a 12 inch circle, depending how thick or thin you want the crust. The crust will rise a little during the cooking process. Transfer the dough to a oiled pizza pan. Add barbeque sauce and spread evenly over the pizza. Sprinkle as much shredded cheese as you wish over the pizza. Add chopped onion, grilled chicken( baked if you desire), and pineapple. Place the pizza in the oven and allow it to cook for 15-20 minutes.
