Description:

5 pounds beef short ribs
3/4 cup shoyu (soy sauce)
1/3 cup dark sesame oil
1/4 cup white sub or brown sugar sub
3 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic 1 tablespoon thinly sliced fresh ginger root
I marinade these for at least 2 days even 3 during the I will brown in a couple tbs oil and then add some of the marinade , slow cook til tender then finish off on the grill , or if raining (hardley happens here) I will put in a 400 degree oven for 10 15 minutes to get a little crunch
Flanken Ribs at 1/2 in thick are great for summer BBQ's with large crowds
YOu might suffer a water gain from the soy for a day or 2
I have tried this with low salt soy or diluting the soay with water, I prefer not to wast time and ribs doing that
