Preheat grill medium-high. Mix beer, Splenda and pepper in the foil pan centered on BBQ grade. Brush brats and onions with the oil and grill on either side of the foil pan until nicely browned-turning once. Place brats and onion slices in the beer mixture. Cover pan with foil and continue cooking 20-30 minutes longer.
Serve Brats and onions with your favorite condiments and chase it with a low-carb beer
