3 cups whole oat flour
2 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
2 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp butter
How To Prepare:
Measure your oat flour and sift it into a mixing bowl. Pour buttermilk into the flour and mix well. Let rest overnight.
Next day: preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add baking soda and salt. Mix. Chop cold butter into small cubes. Cut in.
Flour your countertop and hands well before turning dough out of bowl. Pat down. Roll out with rolling pin till half inch thick. Cut with sharp biscut or cookie cutter. Anything other than sharp and they won't rise correctly.
Bake at 350 degrees till golden brown. The original recipe says 25-30 minutes but experiment with your oven. This may vary.
