Description: If you want something really gorgeous in 10 min here it is - a low carb crying tiger.
Ingredients: 600g piece beef eye fillet
1tsp tamarind concentrate
2 cloves garlic , crushed
2tsp pickled green peppercorns , crushed
2tbs fish sauce
2tbs soy sauce
10cm stick(20g)lemon grass , chopped finely
2 fresh small red thai chillies, chopped finely
1 medium red capsicum(200g), sliced thickly
1 cup(80g)finely shredded chinese cabbage
6trimmed red radishes (90g), sliced thickly
4greenonions, cut into 3cm pieces.
crying tiger sauce
2tsp tamarind concentrate
60ml.fish sauce
60ml.lime juice
2tsp grated palm sugar(I use splenda)
1 fresh small red thai chilli, chopped finely
1 green onion
2tsp finely chopped coriander
How To Prepare: 1.Halve beef lengthways. Combine tamarind, pepper,sauces,lemon grass and chilli in large bowl,add beef,toss it to coat in marinade. cover and refrigerate 3 hours or over night.
2. Cook the beef on heated oiled grill plate until cooked as desired.Cover and stand for 10 min. then slice thinly.
3. Make crying tiger sauce(combine in small bowl)
4. place beef on serving plate with cabbage radish, onion and sauce.
