I make a big batch and eat it over a few days. This batch is for 2 servings.
1/2 lb ground beef of choice (I prefer one w/ slightly higher fat content)
2 TBSP diced yellow onion
1 TBSP chili powder
1/2 TBSP garlic powder
1 tsp. fave hotsauce (I like Tapatio for this recipe)
1 TBSP Heinz low-carb Ketchup
1 tsp salt (you may prefer more dep on your tastes)
Coarse ground pepper
1/2 pkt of artificial sweetener
* chopped green pepper, optional
I take a small low-carb tortilla and put in a frying pan on a little butter and then add fave cheeses and taco meat, fold over once browned then top w/ low-carb salsa and about a TBSP of Cotija cheese
How To Prepare:
Begin browning meat w/ salt only. Mix in well and keep cooking. Add remaining dry spices.
Add in onions (and peppers if you choose). Continue cooking.
Once fully cooked, add in ketchup, sweetener and hotsauce, blend well.
