Description: This is a tasty pizza sauce to use on cooked burgers or a low-carb crust made with carbquik. If you like your pizza sauce on the sweet side like I do, use the b/s splenda, if you don't-you may omit that ingredient for a more savory sauce. Enjoy
Ingredients: 1 6 oz can tomato paste
9 oz water
1/2 tsp chopped garlic
3/4 tsp dried basil
3/4 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp brownsugar Splenda (optional)
1/2 tsp Spice Club (Aldi's) Pizza & Pasta spice seasoning which includes sea salt, onion, garlic granules, dried red bell pepper pieces, basil, parsley & oregano
How To Prepare: In a nonstick frying pan over medium low flame, combine the tomato paste, water and the spices. Simmer at least 5 minutes. Season with sea salt & red pepper, if desired.
Number of Servings: 7
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known: 4 or less per serving
Preparation Time: 7 to 10 minutes
Effort (Easy, Average, Difficult): Easy
